California's Premier Program

The Speed Camp Built Differently.

A structured, science-backed training experience for youth, high school, college, and elite athletes ready to get faster.

The Program

What Is the Me Vs. Me Speed Camp?

The Track & Field Speed Camp is a high-energy, professional training experience specifically designed to help athletes improve speed, explosiveness, agility, and overall athletic performance. This is not a recreational camp — it is a structured performance environment built for athletes who are serious about getting better.

Whether you are a youth athlete just beginning your journey, a high school competitor chasing a faster time, a college athlete seeking an elite technical edge, or a professional competitor refining your mechanics — this camp is built for you.

"This camp provides the tools, the coaching, and the environment to unlock every athlete's potential."

Training Curriculum

A Complete Athletic Development System

Eight training pillars form the foundation of every camp session — systematically building the complete athlete.

01. Sprint Mechanics & Running Form

Master the technical foundations of elite sprint posture, arm drive, and stride mechanics.

In-depth biomechanics coaching covers forward lean and posture alignment, arm drive mechanics and cadence, dorsiflexion and foot strike, hip extension and knee drive.

  • Forward lean and posture alignment drills
  • Arm drive mechanics and cadence training
  • Dorsiflexion and foot strike correction
  • Hip extension and knee drive optimization

From zero to full speed — developing explosive first-step power and sustained top-end velocity.

Resisted sprint training, block start fundamentals, drive phase mechanics, transition from acceleration to top speed, overspeed training concepts.

  • Resisted sprint training with bands and sleds
  • Block start fundamentals and first-step power
  • Drive phase mechanics and body lean
  • Transition from acceleration to top speed

Sharpen lateral movement, reaction time, and multi-directional explosive movement.

Cone and ladder drills, reactive agility drills, deceleration mechanics, crossover and lateral shuffle technique, sport-specific movement patterns.

  • Cone and ladder agility drills
  • Reactive agility and visual stimulus response
  • Deceleration mechanics and braking control
  • Sport-specific movement patterns

Build fast-twitch muscle activation and elastic energy needed to sprint faster and jump higher.

Box jumps and depth jumps, bounding and skipping drills, hurdle hops, single-leg power development, ground contact time training.

  • Box jumps, depth jumps, and hurdle hops
  • Bounding and power skipping progressions
  • Single-leg power and stability development
  • Ground contact time and stiffness training

Build the athletic base that powers every sprint, jump, and directional change.

Bodyweight and loaded strength exercises, hip hinge and squat mechanics, posterior chain development, core stability for sprinting, progressive overload principles.

  • Bodyweight and loaded strength progressions
  • Hip hinge mechanics and posterior chain work
  • Core stability and anti-rotation training
  • Progressive overload for long-term gains

Keep athletes healthy, moving freely, and training consistently with injury-prevention routines.

Dynamic warm-up protocols, hip flexor and hamstring mobility, foam rolling and recovery techniques, joint stability work, cool-down stretching.

  • Dynamic warm-up and movement activation
  • Hip flexor, hamstring, and ankle mobility
  • Foam rolling and myofascial release
  • Joint stability and proprioception work

Develop the competitive mindset and mental toughness needed to perform under pressure.

Visualization and focus drills, goal-setting workshops, competition mindset training, team accountability exercises, resilience building through challenge.

  • Visualization and performance focus drills
  • Goal-setting and progress tracking workshops
  • Competition mindset and pressure training
  • Team accountability and resilience building

Aerobic and anaerobic capacity training to perform at high intensity all session long.

Tempo runs, interval conditioning, lactate threshold training, sport-specific conditioning circuits, recovery run protocols.

  • Tempo runs and aerobic base building
  • Interval conditioning and lactate threshold work
  • Sport-specific conditioning circuits
  • Recovery run and cool-down protocols

Daily Structure

What a Camp Session Looks Like

Every session is carefully structured to maximize development while keeping athletes energized, focused, and safe.

01

15 min

Dynamic Warm-Up

Full-body activation: mobility drills, dynamic stretching, and movement prep designed to prepare athletes for high-intensity training.

02

30 min

Technical Sprint Work

The core of every session — focused on sprint mechanics, running form, acceleration drills, or velocity work depending on the day’s emphasis.

03

20 min

Strength & Power Block

Plyometrics, strength circuits, or explosive drills targeted to build the physical foundation required for elite sprinting.

04

20 min

Agility & Conditioning

Agility ladders, cone drills, change-of-direction circuits, and conditioning work tailored to the athlete’s level.

05

15 min

Cool-Down & Debrief

Guided cool-down, foam rolling, and a group debrief where coaches deliver individual feedback, celebrate progress, and set goals.

Everything You Need to Know

What ages is the camp open to?

The Speed Camp welcomes athletes of all ages — from youth (8+) to adult elite competitors. Training is scaled appropriately by experience level, not age.

Absolutely not. We welcome complete beginners. Youth athletes new to sport will receive foundational instruction, while advanced athletes receive higher-level technical coaching.

Athletic clothing appropriate for outdoor training, running shoes (track spikes optional but not required), water bottle, sunscreen, and a positive mindset.

We maintain small group sizes to ensure every athlete receives individual feedback and coaching attention throughout every session.

Yes. Speed and explosiveness translate directly to all sports. Many of our athletes are football, basketball, soccer, and lacrosse players who train with us in the off-season.

Our coaches bring elite collegiate and professional athletic experience, nationally recognized certifications in strength and conditioning, and years of dedicated youth and elite coaching experience.

The camp is held in California. Specific venue information, including address and parking details, is provided upon registration confirmation.

We understand schedules are busy. Please contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate make-up opportunities where available.
